To celebrate the end of the summer, Dad & Ann rented a house on Fernandina beach and treated us all to a weekend of R&R! It was a beautiful weekend, if a bit windy. 
We had a good nor'easter blowing the first night we got there, but it settled down enough to allow for some good play the next morning. The guys went fishing in the ocean, and even caught some SHARK! Which is some really good eatin'! I'll have to add those pics later though.

N actually got in the water a little bit, probably more than J did, although he did atempt some Karate chopping of the waves. 
It was just a fun weekend. We had a wonderful time, and I even managed to get some pictues of me this time! DH found a big conch shell on the beach, along with quite a few shark teeth...some really fun finds. The kids found enough shells to drown an army, but we left most of them for other kids to find. We just had a great time.
