It's only the first day of his 4-week rotation, and I am ready for it to be over. The good news is, next month, he will only be commuting to Gainesville, so he can come home every night. The bad news...he has about 5 more of these Jacksonville rotations to do for a month each over the next 10 months. Needless to say...this schooling thing can't be over soon enough. So we call on the phone, and chat on the computer with IM. We were hoping to be able to do video calls, but the Internet access at the dorms where he is staying doesn't let those kinds of things go through. They keep a pretty thick firewall up there. So, me and the kids will fend for ourselves. Tonight, I decided to let J sleep with me in my bed. Guess we are all kind of bummed daddy's not home. But we'll manage. We do what we have to, right?

Long Distance....
Now if this isn't a throwback, I don't know what is. DH's rotations have taken him to Jacksonville. Gas prices, and the commute being what they are, this means that he stays in Jax during the week, and we only see him weekends.
